Safavieh Watercolor Rug Collection Floor Decor sku-47219716

Safavieh Watercolor Rug Collection is listed as Floor Decor under SKU sku-47219716. The collection includes simple rugs in multiple sizes; a rug pad is recommended to limit shifting. For indoor rugs, vacuum often, particularly in high-traffic areas, without vacuuming fringe. Blot spills promptly instead of rubbing them.

For stains, apply the foam from a mixture of water, white vinegar and mild detergent, then blot away residue; difficult stains may need professional cleaning. Care depends on the rug's fiber. For 100 percent viscose rugs, use a carpet sweeper or a vacuum on low power with the beater bar disengaged or raised.

Blot viscose stains with a damp cloth and mild cleanser; the vinegar mixture may help with tougher stains, and a little fabric softener can help preserve softness. New wool rugs naturally shed. A rug pad reduces friction; vacuum in the pile's direction 1 to 2 times weekly at first, without a beater bar. Shedding generally declines within 4 to 6 months.

Trim loose ends or loops rather than pulling them. Shipping creases can settle on their own or be reduced by reverse rolling. Use furniture-leg protectors to limit pile flattening and shade rugs from direct sunlight to reduce fading. For indoor-outdoor rugs, follow the care label, sweep and vacuum frequently, and blot spills before sponge cleaning with cold water.

Periodically rinse the rug with a garden hose and dry both sides over a railing in sunlight.
