This SmartShade motorizes any window covering that uses a beaded chain and is controllable from your phone. Installation is quick and tool-free — most users can mount the unit in less than 5 minutes without hardwiring. Control options include built-in on-device buttons and Bluetooth operation through the RYSE APP; full smart-home integration and advanced automation require the RYSE SmartBridge. The unit clamps onto plastic or metal beaded chains and will lift shades measuring up to 9 x 9 ft. or weighing as much as 10 lbs. Environmentally conscious by design, the RYSE SmartShade upgrades existing shades instead of replacing them, reducing textile waste.
