What is Customer Questions & Answers?

Customer Questions & Answers lets registered customers ask product-specific questions and share answers based on their experience. Questions and answers appear after moderation.

Ask about the product itself, especially details another customer may know from using it. For example: Does this camera take good pictures in low light? How long does this laptop battery last while watching movies? Does this computer have noisy cooling fans?

Compact, battery-powered outdoor security with full PTZ coverage and cellular connectivity. The Reolink Altas Go PT delivers 2K resolution video, 360° visibility and AI auto-tracking while running on a large 20000mAh battery that can last 180Days. Low-light color imaging: A super-wide F1.0 aperture paired with a 1/1.8" sensor and Reolink ColorX night vision reveals vivid color details even when ambient light is minimal. For covert night surveillance, 940nm invisible IR LEDs provide discreet illumination without visible glow. Reliable 4G connection anywhere: The camera comes with a Reolink SIM card so it can operate where Wi‑Fi isn’t available. It automatically latches onto the strongest 4G LTE signal, and you can manage, top up and monitor your data plan directly in the Reolink app — no contract or activation fees required. Pan, tilt and auto-track: Mechanically capable of 355° pan and 90° tilt, the unit covers every corner of a property. When motion is detected the AI-driven auto-tracking feature follows the subject to keep it in frame. Smart detection and alerts: Built-in object recognition distinguishes people, vehicles and animals to reduce false alarms. Receive instant push notifications and email alerts when important activity is detected, and fine-tune detection sensitivity for better accuracy. Two-way talk and deterrence: Speak to visitors or deter intruders in real time through the Reolink app using the camera’s two-way audio. A built-in siren adds an extra layer of active deterrence when needed. Flexible installation and weather resistance: Mount on a wall, ceiling or pole to suit different locations such as construction sites, cabins or farms. The Altas Go PT is rated IP65 for dependable outdoor operation in rain and heat. Storage choices: Save footage locally on a microSD card (up to 512GB) or archive to an FTP server or Reolink Cloud for offsite backup. App features and integrations: View live streams, filter recorded clips by event type and timeline with Smart Playback, and limit detection to custom zones to focus on what matters. The camera also works with Google Nest Hub and Chromecast-enabled TVs — for example, say "Hey Google, show me the backyard" to pull up the feed hands-free.
