What is Customer Questions & Answers?

Customer Questions & Answers lets registered customers ask product-specific questions and share answers based on their experience. Questions and answers appear after moderation.

Ask about the product itself, especially details another customer may know from using it. For example: Does this camera take good pictures in low light? How long does this laptop battery last while watching movies? Does this computer have noisy cooling fans?

High-resolution security in a convenient two-pack — these Reolink 4K UHD 8MP PoE cameras provide full-color night imaging with robust weather protection and intelligent motion recognition, and they work without any subscription fees. Key features: - Smart Detection: The camera distinguishes shapes of people, vehicles and animals to deliver more accurate alerts and greatly reduce false positives. - Double Deterrent: When motion is detected the built-in warm light illuminates and the siren sounds at the same time to discourage intruders before anything happens. - Two-Way Audio: A built-in microphone and speaker let you speak in real time — whether you’re greeting visitors or warning off unwanted guests. - Adjustable Warm Light: Integrated 3000K warm light can be gradually brightened to provide gentle illumination without disturbing neighbors. - Easy PoE Installation: Power over Ethernet (PoE) sends both power and data through a single Ethernet cable for quick, simple setup. - Flexible Storage: Record locally to an SD card, manage footage centrally with an NVR, or back up to an FTP server — multiple recording options keep your video safe and accessible. - Efficient Compression: H.265 encoding reduces file sizes, lowers bandwidth use, and saves storage compared with older H.264 standards for smoother playback. - Built Tough: An IP67-rated housing protects the camera from water and dust and shields it against extreme heat and freezing conditions. - Time-Lapse: Condense long periods into short videos to capture changes from sunrise to sunset and reveal motion over time. Remote access and control: - Instant Alerts: Get push and email notifications within seconds when suspicious motion is spotted; detection sensitivity is adjustable for more precise alerts (no subscription required). - Live View & Playback: Watch live feeds anytime via the Reolink App or Client. Smart Playback tools with event and timeline filters help you find the exact clip you need fast. - Custom Detection Zones: Define the exact areas you want monitored and ignore the rest to avoid unnecessary notifications. - Voice Control: View camera feeds hands-free on Google Nest Hub or Chromecast-enabled TVs by saying "Hey Google, show me the Front Door."
