The 1.28-inch maximum tube diameter provides strong torsional stability and the unit supports up to 26 lb (12 kg), making it suitable for DSLR and mirrorless bodies with heavy glass. Handling features include a comfortable foam grip, safety wrist strap, and interchangeable rubber foot and steel spike for secure footing on varied terrain. The mounting platform accepts both 1/4" and 3/8" threads, or you can fit the included ball head to gain 360° panning, precise tilt control and a U-notch for quick vertical orientation. The supplied ball head is CNC-machined, rated for 17.6 lb load capacity, offers fine-tune damping to prevent sudden drops, and includes dual bubble levels plus indexed base markings for repeatable panoramas. When used together, the monopod and ball head provide a combined load capacity of 30 lb. (13.6 Kg).
