Nisus Corp PSWP1G Clear PenaShield Wood sku-660270077

Nisus Corp PenaShield PSWP1G is a Clear wood preservative in the Wood Stains, Coatings & Finishes category. The 128 fl oz, 1 Gallon Jug is sku-660270077 (UPC 616609777078). It kills and helps prevent wood rot, decay fungi, termites, carpenter ants and wood-destroying beetles; see the label for the full list.

Its active ingredient is a borate mineral salt that does not break down over time like synthetic chemicals, providing residual protection for treated wood. Indoors, it lasts for the life of the wood. Outdoors, it lasts while an applied water repellent is maintained; unsealed or unpainted wood needs another application every 1-5 years. PenaShield emits no VOCs.

One gallon treats approximately 150-250 square feet, depending on wood porosity and surface texture. It does not stain or discolor wood. Once dry, treated wood can be painted, sealed, stained or varnished.
