Panacea Purple Martin House features a 4-pod design. Includes a center hub and a 15-foot pole system. Heavy-duty pole system is designed to hold up to a total of 4 stackable Quad Pod units, accommodating 16 nesting units. Pole is a 2.5-inch diameter galvanized steel pole with a 3-foot ground sleeve for easy installation and removal. Equipped with an internal top pulley and anti-reverse winch for simple lifting and lowering of the house assembly. Modular hub design allows houses to be mounted at 90-degree angles to separate nesting pairs. Integral front porch snaps in place to secure nesting boxes onto the mounting pole. Wire supports provide ample perching areas for Purple Martins. Body and roof feature powder-coated steel construction. Plastic porches, floors, and hole inserts are included. Pole is constructed of galvanized steel tubing. Modular hub design allows individual nesting boxes to be removed for cleaning and inspection without disturbing adjacent houses. Nesting boxes include an internal predator guard. Features an exercise perch for nestlings. Designed with ventilation slits and a recessed nesting cavity with drainage holes. Houses disassemble quickly for ease of cleaning. Roof has snap tabs for safe nest inspection. Improved air circulation is provided by cross-through ventilation and floor vent holes. Each of the 4 individual compartments is large and roomy, measuring 8 inches by 8 inches. Nesting boxes are very easy to assemble and can be fully assembled in minutes. All necessary mounting hardware and complete instructions are included. Comes with a choice of round or Starling-resistant and closed entrance holes for winter.
