Fast-aperture primes—examples include the AF-S NIKKOR 105mm f/1.4E ED and the AF-S NIKKOR 24mm f/1.4G ED—can benefit from up to 5 stops of 3-axis VR image stabilization when used with this adapter. Lenses that already include VR, such as the AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR, gain the roll axis for a complete 3-axis VR solution. Built from rugged Magnesium Alloy and sealed against dust and moisture, the FTZ is designed to match the durability of your camera and lens. An integrated tripod mount transfers the load of long lenses away from the camera body.
