Output regulation is within 1% across rated line and load conditions; ripple is below 40 mV P-P for 12 V models and 70 mV P-P for 24 V models. The PC board has a polyurethane conformal coating, and the corrosion-resistant aluminum case has integral shock mounts. Heat-sink fins dissipate semiconductor heat.

Protection includes overvoltage, current limiting set at 105% of the intermittent rating, thermal overload, and input/output fuses. CD units have a thermally activated fan. For 12-volt output, model 115-12-8 takes 115/230 VAC and supplies 8 amps intermittently or 5 amps continuously; it measures 6.0 inches high by 4.6 inches wide by 8.5 inches deep and weighs 10lbs.

The 115-24-35CD takes 115/230 VAC and supplies 35 amps intermittently or continuously; it measures 6.5 by 13.0 by 18.75 inches and weighs 60lbs. Output on 12 V models is 13.6 VDC, internally adjustable from 12.6 to 14.5 VDC, with 40mV P-P ripple at 110-125 or 220-250 VAC input. Output on 24 V models is 24.5 VDC, adjustable from 21 to 27.5 VDC, with 70mV P-P ripple at 110-125 or 220-250 VAC input.

All models have 1% line and load regulation. Selectable input range is 105-125/210-250 VAC at 50-60 Hz; output derates to 50% below 110 and 220 VAC. Operating temperature is 0-50°C, with linear derating from 100% at 40°C to 50% at 50°C and thermal shutdown at an 85°C case temperature.

Intermittent operation allows 20 minutes maximum on time at 20% duty; continuous operation is rated for 24 hours per day at 100% duty. The 115-12-20A is specified as a 115/230VAC to 12VDC power supply at 20 amps.
