Missyu 45808 Body Filler & Repair listing, size 1 gal, sku-16724612091, UPC 160772026704. The Lift Off automotive paint stripper is a thick gel that can be applied to vertical surfaces. It is designed to separate paint from metal by breaking their bond and can strip to bare metal in 30 minutes or less. Using it can reduce sanding and the airborne particles sanding produces.

The patented, low-VOC formula is described as safer for users, surfaces and the environment than hazardous-solvent strippers; it is 100% CARB compliant in all 50 states. Before application, score the surface with 36 to 80-grit pads to help the stripper penetrate. Covering the treated surface with clear shrink-wrap film can limit evaporation and may reduce the number of applications needed.

Lift Off may not remove every layer in one application. The maker says its non-toxic formula avoids the carcinogenic, peroxide-forming and highly corrosive materials found in some other removers, though those products may penetrate faster. Lift Off products are made in the USA.
