Mastervolt Mass 40020506 Power Sources sku-911504009

Mastervolt Mass 24/50-2, model 40020506 (sku-911504009; UPC 852968002745), is a Multicolor, One Size, Unisex battery charger in Power Sources. The Mass series is intended for professional, semi-professional and recreational use in difficult conditions. Its stated MTBF is 180,000 hours at full capacity with 24/7 use.

The lightweight stainless steel and anodized aluminium casing protects coated internal components from damp or condensation. The charger resists electromagnetic effects, charges battery types including fully empty batteries, and comes with a temperature sensor.

It supplies full power up to 45 °C, supports battery capacities from 80 to 1000 Ah or more, and provides stable, ripple-free 24 and 48 V power even without batteries. Current Control helps prevent blown fuses when voltage drops; multiple chargers can operate in parallel. Connections meet CE, ABYC A-31 and IEC60945. RRR and RMRS certification excludes the 24/75 120 V model.

DNV GL certification applies only to the listed 24/25, 24/50, 24/75, 24/75 (120 V) and 24/100 models; Lloyd certification applies only to 24/75 and 24/100 models. A front display with GMDSS alarm functions is available only for the specified Mass models, including this one. GMDSS is the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System required under SOLAS and uses DSC and satellite communication.

Mastervolt chargers can communicate with Lithium Ion batteries through MasterBus or use adapted charging voltages. MasterBus-compatible chargers connect to the network with one cable and connection, with central, local or remote monitoring, configuration and control. The certified chargers are designed to withstand vibration and shocks.
