Its ribbed construction lets the hood fold almost flat for compact storage in your camera bag or suitcase, making it ideal for travel. Constructed from water resistant, lightweight material, the TravelHood deflects stray light to reduce glare and lens flare while also shielding the front element from scratches, rain, and dust. No hardware is needed for installation — the heavy duty Velcro and "no slip grip" surface secure the hood quickly and keep it firmly in place.
