Lees Tackle RH577XL Fishing Swivel Rod Holder 1 sku-45079929
No rating yet(0 ratings)Lees Tackle RH577XL is a Multicolor Fishing rod holder, size 1, with a swivel base and an extra-long vertical 0° tube. Designed primarily for bent-butt tackle, its base lets the rod butt rotate under side pressure, helping the tip follow a fish and reducing line fraying at the roller tip.
This can ease removal from the holder and reduce the chance of a sheared pin when drags near 60 pounds put force on it, as in giant bluefin tuna fishing. It also holds straight-butt rods as a standard rod holder; those rods can be turned by hand to keep the line on the tip roller. Adjust swivel resistance using the two nylon drag washers and the 1/2 inch stainless steel lock nut underneath.
