Overview: The Key Digital KD-X2X1WDTX is an HDBaseT transmitter designed to extend HDMI and DisplayPort video and audio along with infrared and serial control up to 230 ft. It supports modern HDR formats for improved image realism and offers convenient installation and control options. Video and HDR: Supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision for a wider luminance range and more lifelike images. Power and Connectivity: The wall-plate transmitter is powered via Power over HDBaseT from the Rx/Presentation Switch unit, eliminating the need for a local power source at the wall. Extension Performance: Signal reach and performance depend on source resolution and cable quality, enabling long-distance distribution of AV signals. EDID and Control: Built-in EDID management includes an internal library with 15 internal EDID handshakes (including 4K with HDR) and the ability to copy native EDID data from the Rx display/device. Bidirectional RS-232 control is supported to and from the Tx and Rx/Presentation Switch unit. Initial unit configuration can be performed via USB. Infrared: The wall-plate incorporates an IR sensor that captures line-of-sight IR commands from remotes without requiring external IR wiring.
