The optical element is crafted from imported Japanese AGC glass to cut light without shifting overall color balance while minimizing reflections and glare for clean, high-quality images. The filter addresses the common black "X" artifact by using a frame self-lock design and hard stops at both ends of the adjustment range, preventing the crossed-darkening issue.

Finished with a new Nano coating layer technology, the surface features 28 multi-layer coatings that are waterproof, oil-repellent, and scratch-resistant to shield your lens. Compatibility: fits all 55mm lenses — verify your lens thread size (look for the "ø" diameter mark) before purchasing. NOTE: a 58mm lens cap is required for this 55mm variable ND filter.
