It offers full-body protection to shield your camera and lens from scratches, scrapes and impacts, and is rated for diving to 40m (limit). The housing uses a symmetrical locking mechanism for dependable performance and a thicker shell body that’s more solid and resistant to deformation. Lens optics are made from toughened optical imaging glass with an intrinsic transmittance close to 92%. An AR-additional film layer increases lens transmittance to more than 98%, while a waterproof film coating produces a water drop angle of 115 degrees to prevent droplets from clinging to the lens and degrading footage.
