unknown Honey from Japanese Native Bees sku-15199300523

This unknown-brand Honey (SKU sku-15199300523) comes from Japanese native honeybees, Apis cerana japonica. It is 100% pure, filtered, unheated and unsweetened, with a fruity aroma and a refreshing, tangy taste. Honey from these bees accounts for about 0.1% of all honey distributed in Japan. The size options are 100g and 30g. The honey can be used as a sweetener or given as a gift.

Do not give honey to infants under one year old. Japanese native honeybees pollinate plants, including vegetables, fruits and flowers. Their population has been declining, and they are listed as Near Threatened on Japan's Ministry of the Environment Red List. Conservation efforts are underway across Japan.

The beekeeping effort behind this honey aims to increase their population, expand their habitat and support sustainable agriculture.
