IRIX 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 K UV Protector Filter — Absorbs UV, Reduces Bluish Cast, Lens Protection

Made specifically for the IRIX 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1 K, this UV protector filter improves outdoor shooting by filtering ultraviolet light that often causes hazy, low-contrast images—an issue common at high elevations, by the sea, or in snowy environments. By cutting UV, it diminishes the bluish cast of daylight so photos show more natural tones and clearer detail in varied lighting.

Optically neutral and clear, the filter has a 1x filter factor (+0 stop), so it does not change exposure, contrast, or color balance. Your images keep full sharpness, fine detail, and accurate colors while benefiting from UV reduction. Built for everyday use as a permanent lens guard, it shields the front element from scratches, dust, dirt, water spots, fingerprints, and accidental contact.

It also provides added defense against bumps, drops, and abrasions, helping extend the usable life of your lens.
