Eugene Color IPC-9800 is a handheld camera tester for installing, troubleshooting and maintaining analog and IP surveillance systems. It has a 7in display, VGA output, PoE and RJ45 interfaces, cable diagnostics and a built-in multimeter. The TVI and AHD 8MP tests support 3840 x 2160P at 15 FPS. CVI 8MP is listed at 3840 x 2160P and 12515 FPS; EXSDI 8MP at 3840x2160P and 2530 FPS.

HDSDI is listed at 1920x1080P and 25305060 FPS, and 3GSDI at 1920x1080P and 5060 FPS. These video tests include 4x zoom, recording and playback, coaxial PTZ control and OSD menu access. The tester can power a camera through DC24V 2A or DC12V 3A outputs and has a 48V PoE output rated at up to 30W.

It can scan for network cameras, display them automatically, view wireless camera streams over built-in Wi-Fi and create a hotspot. A CVBS color-bar loop test checks BNC cable integrity. The cable tester checks order and connectivity on UTP, telephone and similar cables and can save reports; special pin assignments require a custom RJ45 cable.

TDR testing checks pair status, length, attenuation, reflectivity, impedance and skew. A digital tracer locates BNC, network and telephone cables in a bundle. Open-circuit length testing covers BNC, network, telephone, RVV, elevator and cat 5/6 cables to 1.5KM; it does not support short-circuit length testing. TDR detects open and short circuits on those cable types to 1.2KM.
