Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, SKU sku-13291510375, UPC 465305857856, is a Black print in size L. The 16" x 20" image depicts the 2400 horsepower CA" Double Wasp, described as Pratt & Whitney Aircraft's improved version of a military engine.

The company reproduces historical maps, photos, and prints restored from Library of Congress archives, using archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations. Founded in 2001, Snapshots of the Past says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass-produced posters possible.

The Library of Congress launched its American Memory pilot project in 1989; it laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural history.

The company's reproductions include old Halloween, Mother's Day, and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco for display at home or work or as gifts.
