Snapshots of the Past Wall Art Print L sku-13270163213

This Snapshots of the Past Wall Art print depicts the Street of Steps (Gradoni de Chioja) and flower sellers in Naples, Italy. It measures 16 x 20 inches and is listed as Black, size L. The company makes reproductions of historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives, using archival paper and pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproductions. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography, invented in 1796, enabled inexpensive mass production of prints.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; the National Digital Library Program followed in 1995 to digitize selected collections concerning American cultural history. The company also offers retro posters, including holiday designs and early aerial city views, for display or gifts. UPC: 465599817628. SKU: sku-13270163213.
