Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, size L, in Black. SKU sku-13288508264; UPC 466222527433. This 16" x 20" reproduction shows the historic clean plate poster credited to Crawford Young and The W.F. Powers Co. Litho., N.Y. The brand makes reproductions of maps, photos and prints restored from Library of Congress archives.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of Internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography was invented in 1796.

A Library of Congress pilot project called American Memory began in 1989 and laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995. That program digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural heritage. The reproductions use archival paper and pigmented inks.

The collection includes holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.
