Snapshots of the Past Wall Art L sku-13274609421 Print

Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, sku-13274609421, UPC 461015561236, is a Black, size L reproduction print measuring 16" x 20". It depicts a patio-front rendering of the residence for Mr. and Mrs. Harry Seitchik on Frazier Rd. in Abington, Pa., credited to architect Richard Neutra and collaborator Thad Longstreth.

The company restores historical maps, photos and prints from Library of Congress archives and produces reproductions on archival paper with pigmented inks, which the listing says can last for generations. Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. The listing also discusses lithography, invented in 1796, and the Library of Congress American Memory pilot project of 1989, which laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program begun in 1995.

That program digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural heritage. The seller suggests historical Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters, and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, as examples of prints for homes, studies, workplaces or gifts.
