This Black Historic Print, Practice, Yale, measures 16" x 20". It is a size L Wall Art listing from Snapshots of the Past, SKU sku-13225424229, UPC 462697295389. The company reproduces historical maps, photos and prints from Library of Congress archives on fine-art archival paper with pigmented inks, intended to last for generations.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, plus tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography, developed in 1796, enabled inexpensive mass production of prints.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; it laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, begun in 1995 to digitize selected collections focused on American cultural history. The range includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.

The prints can be displayed at home, in a study or at work, or given as gifts.
