This Black, size L reproduction is 16 x 20 inches; SKU: sku-13259957322; UPC: 465785602755. The company reproduces historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives, using archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass-produced posters possible.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; the National Digital Library Program followed in 1995 to digitize selected collections concerning American cultural history. The range also includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.

The prints are intended for display at home or work and can be given as gifts.
