Snapshots of the Past Wall Art sku-13243751115 is a Black, size L reproduction print of paths leading to the principal views of Delaware Water Gap in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. The print measures 16" x 20"; its UPC is 463560251839. The company restores historical maps, photographs and prints from the Library of Congress archives for home decor.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008.

Lithography was invented in 1796 and made inexpensive mass production of posters possible. The Library of Congress launched its American Memory pilot project in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural heritage.

The reproductions use fine-art and archival paper, including prints made with archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations. The range includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco. The prints can be displayed at home or at work, or given as gifts.
