Snapshots of the Past Nite-Glare Wall Art L sku-13263850690

Snapshots of the Past Nite-Glare Goggles Wall Art is a 16 x 20 historic print listed in Black, size L. The company makes reproductions of historical maps, photos and prints restored from Library of Congress archives. Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, helped make mass-produced prints inexpensive.

In 1989, the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project; it laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections on American cultural history. The reproductions use fine-art and archival papers and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

The range includes old holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display at home or work, or as gifts. SKU sku-13263850690; UPC 466216202308.
