It is Black Wall Art in size L. The company restores historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives for home decor.

Founded in 2001, Snapshots of the Past says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproductions. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008.

Printing methods made inexpensive mass production of posters possible; lithography was invented in 1796. The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989, laying the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerned with American cultural heritage.

The company's reproductions use fine-art and archival paper brands; prints made with archival paper and pigmented inks are intended to last for generations. Its range includes old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, for display at home, in a study or at work, or as gifts.
