Snapshots of the Past Black Wall Art, size L (sku-13254724675; UPC 465334964747), is a 16" x 20" historic print of Mr. Thomas A. Edison beside a flag presented for the forty-third anniversary of the Ediphone invention. The company restores archival maps, photos and prints, including images from the Library of Congress, as reproductions on archival paper with pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for a White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography was invented in 1796.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; the National Digital Library Program followed in 1995 to digitize selected collections focused on American cultural history. The range includes old holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display at home or work or as gifts.
