Snapshots of the Past offers this Black, size L Wall Art print under sku-13330706606, UPC 461135494636. It reproduces a 1909 photo of the MO stock yards in Kansas City and measures 7" wide by 36" long. The company restores historical maps, photos and prints from Library of Congress archives and makes reproductions with archival paper and pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it describes itself as the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers; it was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008.

Lithography was invented in 1796, making inexpensive mass-produced prints possible. The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; that project laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural history.

The company's wider range includes historical posters and early aerial views of cities.
