Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, size L in Black, SKU sku-13259807809, UPC 466367729747. This 16" x 20" historic print depicts Lt. Col. J.B. Johnson, Gen. E.B. Winans, Gen. W.G. Haan and his wife, Col. R.M. Beck, and Capt. D.D. Thompson. The company restores historical maps, photographs and prints from the Library of Congress archives for reproduction on archival paper with pigmented inks.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography, invented in 1796, enabled inexpensive mass production of prints.

In 1989, the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project; it laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections on American cultural history. The company's reproductions can include old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters or early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.

They can be displayed at home or work or given as gifts.
