Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, sku-13244152942, is a Black, size L reproduction print measuring 16" x 20". The source title names J.M. Nelson, C.C. Carlin and Warren Gard. UPC: 468103338978. The company restores historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives. Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints.

Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. The company was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, helped make mass-produced prints inexpensive.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections on American cultural heritage. The reproductions use fine-art and archival paper brands. Prints made with archival paper and pigmented inks can last a lifetime and be passed down.

Subjects in the collection include holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.
