This Snapshots of the Past Wall Art print, sku-13286716933 and UPC 462924593448, is size L in Black. The 16" x 20" print depicts the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio Railroad bridge spanning the Black Warrior River between Northport and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Snapshots of the Past makes reproductions of historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives.

Founded in 2001, the company was the first to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, made inexpensive mass production of prints possible.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural heritage. The reproduction uses archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

The company's range also includes historical holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco for display at home or work or as gifts.
