Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, size L, in Black (sku-13635108790; UPC 462946853452) reproduces a historical image of a group finishing a week's work in Mr. Schneider's sweatshop at 87 Ridge Street. Founded in 2001, Snapshots of the Past was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. The company was selected as a vendor for a White House redecoration project in 2008. Its prints use archival paper and pigmented inks.

Lithography was invented in 1796; the Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989, laying the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections of American cultural history. The company's wider range includes historical maps, photographs and posters.
