Snapshots of the Past Wall Art reproduces a half-length, front-facing portrait of Ezra Bartlett French as a 16" x 20" historic print. This Black print is size L; catalog SKU sku-13264509660 and UPC 468610382174. The company restores archival maps, photos and prints from the Library of Congress.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for a White House redecoration project in 2008. The prints use archival paper and pigmented inks.

Lithography, which made inexpensive mass-produced posters possible, was invented in 1796. The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural heritage.

The range includes historical maps and photos, old Halloween, Mother's Day and Valentine's Day posters, and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco. These reproductions can be displayed at home or work or given as gifts.
