This Snapshots of the Past Wall Art is an E.B. Stillings historic print measuring 16 x 20 inches. It is listed in Black, size L, as sku-13261565661; UPC 461862235205. The company makes reproductions of historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives, using fine-art and archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, enabled inexpensive mass production of prints.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; it laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections concerning American cultural heritage. The company's print subjects include old holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.

Its retro-style posters are offered for homes, studies and workplaces and as gifts.
