Snapshots of the Past Wall Art sku-13244352208, UPC 464581543057, is a Black, size L historic print of Casino park and Newport News Academy in Newport News, Virginia. It measures 16 x 20 inches. The company reproduces historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography was invented in 1796, making inexpensive mass-produced posters possible.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; it laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 to digitize selected collections on American cultural history. The reproductions use archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations. The company's range also includes old holiday posters and early aerial views of American cities.
