This Snapshots of the Past Wall Art is a Black, size L reproduction print, sku-13246861356, UPC 466899178112. The 16 x 20 print depicts aviators at Pittsburgh, including Aug. Post, Mars and his wife, Curiss and his wife, Baldwin, and Judge M. Wheeler. The company restores historical maps, photos and prints from Library of Congress archives.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints; its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, as well as tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project in 2008. Lithography, invented in 1796, enabled inexpensive mass production of prints.

The Library of Congress launched the American Memory pilot in 1989, laying the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections on American cultural history. The reproduction uses archival paper and pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

The company's print range includes holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.
