Snapshots of the Past Wall Art, Black, size L, sku-13268269143, UPC 466282752554. This 16 x 20 print depicts Gen. Nogi's headquarters before Port Arthur, in a bomb-proof dugout within the Russian fire zone. The company restores historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives and reproduces them on fine-art archival paper with pigmented inks intended to last for generations.

Founded in 2001, it says it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality reproduction prints. Its buyers include over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the White House redecoration project of 2008.

The description also notes the invention of lithography in 1796 and the Library of Congress's 1989 American Memory pilot, which laid the groundwork for the National Digital Library Program begun in 1995 to digitize selected collections about American cultural heritage.

The company's other subjects include holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, offered as decor or gifts.
