It measures 17-7/8" x 21-7/8" and is listed as sku-5287804854, UPC 469925552481. The company restores historical maps, photographs and prints from Library of Congress archives and uses archival paper and pigmented inks for its reproductions.

Founded in 2001, it was the first company to offer Library of Congress images as museum-quality fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of internet customers. It was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography was invented in 1796, allowing inexpensive mass production of prints.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot project in 1989; that project laid the foundation for the National Digital Library Program, which began in 1995 and digitizes selected collections on American cultural history. The brand also offers historical posters and early aerial city views as wall decor or gifts.
