This Black, size L Wall Art print from Snapshots of the Past, SKU sku-5293664597 and UPC 467423270333, is a framed reproduction of a photograph of people shopping in a store in Greenbelt, Maryland. It measures 17-7/8" x 21-7/8". Snapshots of the Past reproduces historical maps, photographs and prints restored from Library of Congress archives.

Founded in 2001, the company says it was the first to offer Library of Congress images as fine-art reproduction prints. Its buyers have included over 200 bookstores and other retailers, along with tens of thousands of online customers. It was selected as a vendor for the 2008 White House redecoration project. Lithography, invented in 1796, helped make mass-produced prints inexpensive.

The Library of Congress began its American Memory pilot in 1989; the National Digital Library Program followed in 1995 to digitize selected collections relating to American cultural heritage. The reproduction prints use fine-art and archival paper and pigmented inks. The collection also includes old holiday posters and early aerial views of Manhattan, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.
