This 5-pack of uncoated carbon steel clamps supports vertical piping at floor level and transfers its load to the building structure. Each clamp fits standard iron pipe of 4", has a maximum temperature of 650°F and a stated maximum load of 750.
For installation, place the 2 halves around the pipe below welded shear lugs, secure them with 2 bolts, tighten until the clamp holds the pipe, then rest it on the floor. The design eliminates the need for glue, tape, a metal shield or a rigid insulation insert. Listed compliance includes UL, FM, ANSI and federal specification A-A-1192A type 8.
