This plastic-coated steel 5-pack supports vertical standard iron pipe at floor level and transfers its load to the building structure. It fits 4" pipe, has a maximum temperature of 650°F and a maximum load of 750.
For installation, fasten the 2 clamp halves around the pipe with 2 bolts below the welded shear lugs, tighten the bolts and rest the clamp on the floor. The coating provides corrosion resistance. The clamp requires no glue, tape, metal shield or rigid insulation insert. It meets UL, FM, ANSI and federal specification A-A-1192A type 8.
