It supports Canon E-TTL and E-TTL II metering. The head rotates 330° and tilts from -7° to 120°; its magnetic surface accepts Godox accessory modifiers.
A removable 2600mAh lithium-ion battery supplies up to 480 full-power flashes per charge, with a full-power recycle time of 1.5 seconds. High Speed Sync reaches 1/8000 sec, and the flash supports front- and rear-curtain sync. For wireless use, it has an optical receiver and a built-in 2.4 GHz radio receiver compatible with Godox X System transmitters.
The X System manages up to four wireless groups; in a transmitter/receiver setup, adjustments on the V1 are mirrored on linked flashes. An AF assist lamp, 3200K LED modeling lamp and 2.5mm cabled-triggering port are also included.
