This Unbranded Beige Gillwood Bluebird nest box in Bird Houses (sku-18502467796, UPC 330739494802) gives birds a place to nest and raise young, which can help native bird populations. Its front door opens for cleaning between seasons. Overall dimensions are 10 inches deep by 7.5 inches wide by 10 inches high; the body measures 7.25 inches deep by 5.25 inches wide by 9 inches high.

The entry hole is 2 inches wide by 1.5 inches high, and the box weighs 4 lbs. Hardware on the back mounts it to a 1/2-inch metal conduit pole. It is made from unfinished cedar with stainless steel hardware by Amish craftspeople in Indiana, USA. Cedar is naturally durable, though placing the box in a dry area can extend its life.

Cedar grows quickly relative to other trees, allowing faster reforestation; it is also biodegradable. Remove the stainless steel hardware before disposing of the wood.
