External MCIO 8i Mini Cool Edge IO SFF-TA-1016 to PCIE5.0 PCI-Express 8x VROC Adapter for Mainboard SSD Graphics Card. This adapter installs internally via the MCIO interface and converts that connection into a PCI-Express 8x PCIE5.0 link, enabling use with motherboards, SSDs or graphics cards. It connects to a single detachable PCI-Express 8x channel on the motherboard. Note: the adapter only supports motherboards that provide detachable PCI-E channels. When the motherboard offers PCI-E channel splitting the adapter can manage two disks; if the motherboard does not provide a PCI-E signal split it will recognize only one disk. Power delivery is handled by multiple sets of high-power DC modules built into the unit for steady, long-term operation. Designed for high-speed storage, it supports SSDs using the MCIO 8i connector family and enables data transfer rates of up to 24 Gbps.
