Internal MCIO-to-PCIe adapter that converts an SFF-TA-1016 Mini Cool Edge IO connection to a PCIE5.0 PCI-Express 16x VROC interface. Install this converter into the chassis via the MCIO interface to add PCIE expansion for SSDs or graphics cards. It connects to a single detachable PCIE PCI-Express 8x link from the motherboard and requires a motherboard with detachable PCI-E channels to provide full functionality. The adapter can manage two drives depending on how the motherboard splits the PCIE signal; if the motherboard does not provide a PCIe signal split, only one disk will be recognized. Power delivery is reinforced with multiple high-power DC modules built in to ensure stable, continuous operation. Designed for SSDs using MCIO 8x connectors, the unit supports high-speed transfers up to 24 Gbps.
