The Focal Vestia No3 is a slim, three-way bass-reflex floorstanding loudspeaker engineered to deliver refined performance. Designed with the same linear listening goals and neutrality as the Aria 936, it provides a transparent sound signature ideal for both music and Home Cinema use. Drivers use Focal’s Slatefiber technology: recycled, non-woven carbon fibres sandwiched between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. The fibres are aligned in the same direction to maximise rigidity, improve damping and keep weight low — the three essentials for an effective driver. The Slatefiber cone is manufactured in France at Focal’s workshops. The high-frequency section features an inverted dome tweeter in an Aluminium/Magnesium alloy, formed into Focal’s distinctive ‘M’ profile. This shape increases stiffness, lowers distortion and widens dispersion, resulting in cleaner, more detailed treble. The tweeter is also produced in Focal’s French workshops. Vestia No3 adopts a dual-vent bass-reflex design with a forward-facing port for stronger frontal impact and a rear port to extend bass immersion, enhancing the overall depth and presence of the soundstage.
