The Focal Vestia No3 is a slim, 3-way bass-reflex floorstanding loudspeaker designed to deliver refined, accomplished performance — sold individually. Building on the design cues of the Aria 936, it provides linear listening and exceptional neutrality for both music and Home Cinema use. Drivers use Focal's Slatefiber technology: recycled, non-woven carbon fibres are applied as a sandwich between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. The fibres are all aligned in the same direction to increase rigidity, improve damping and reduce weight — the three essentials for an effective speaker driver. The Slatefiber cone is manufactured in France in the Focal workshops. The high-frequency section is handled by an inverted dome tweeter made from an Aluminium/Magnesium alloy and moulded into the distinctive 'M' shape — a Focal exclusive — also produced in France in the Focal workshops. This 'M' profile boosts rigidity, lowers distortion, widens the dispersion angle and yields a cleaner, more delicate treble. Vestia loudspeakers use a dual-port approach: a front-facing vent for stronger frontal impact combined with a rear port for enveloping low end. This bass-reflex configuration deepens the soundstage and enhances bass depth.
