It connects outboard and I/O sterndrive engines to freshwater to flush out sand, salt water, sediment, seaweed and silt. It fits most outboards, including Mercury, Yamaha, Evinrude, Johnson, Chrysler, Honda, Nissan and Suzuki.
It connects to a standard garden hose or an optional quick-connect male adapter with a rubber washer. The rectangular muffs are UV-resistant PVC with an adjustable, corrosion-resistant coated steel bracket. Muff dimensions are 4-7/8 x 3-1/4 inches (124mm x 83mm); overall length is 16-1/2 inches (419mm). The garden hose size is 3/4 inch (19mm), and the male quick connector size is 5/8 inch.
